ABOUT US

Hunter Region Business Hub

Established in 1992, the Hunter Region Business Hub is a leading not-for-profit business service organisation that provides professional services and support to businesses of all shapes, sizes and fields. Working closely with Government, industry and our network of Business Enterprise Centres (BEC), we’re a sought-after, trusted adviser to businesses both locally and throughout Australia.

Our comprehensive range of services includes business consulting, providing specialised advice and guidance for established businesses, as well as tenancy and training opportunities. We offer affordable office, commercial, and light industrial spaces, along with on-site business mentoring.

A key initiative of the Hunter Region Business Hub is Digital Solutions, a business we own that assists small businesses in enhancing their digital capabilities. Through Digital Solutions, we offer expert advice, training, and support in areas such as websites, social media, e-commerce, and cybersecurity.

We are proud to own and operate two important tourism-focused initiatives:

The Australian Tourism Industry Group (ATIG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hunter Region Business Hub. This organisation provides comprehensive resources, networking opportunities, and industry insights specifically for tourism-related businesses.

Similarly, the Hunter Region Tourism Organisation (HRTO) is another of our owned entities, dedicated to promoting and developing tourism in the Hunter Region. This organisation enables us to offer tailored resources and support for Hunter Region tourism and hospitality businesses looking to promote and grow their businesses.

The Hunter Region Business Hub is deeply rooted in the community, born from a partnership between local companies, Cessnock City Council, and Maitland City Council. Our goal is to foster local economic development and support businesses across the Maitland, Cessnock, Dungog, Singleton, Muswellbrook, and Upper Hunter local government areas.

We regularly host business workshops, information seminars, and networking events to encourage growth and support within our business community. Our Business Hub houses up to 28 units, providing economical, easy-leasing arrangements for businesses, coupled with readily available mentoring services.

At the Hunter Region Business Hub, we’re committed to helping businesses thrive. Whether you’re looking to expand, enhance your digital presence, or tap into the region’s tourism potential, our experienced staff are here to support your journey to success.
