Who these terms are with

This website is operated by Hunter Region Business Enterprise Centre Incorporated (ABN 36 782 654 484), the not-for-profit organisation behind the Hunter Region Business Hub, Cnr Barton & Merthyr Streets, Kurri Kurri NSW 2327. By using this website you accept these terms. If we change the site in a way that changes them, we update this page and the date above.

What this website does, and does not do

This site describes what the Hub offers and starts conversations. It takes enquiries, room hire requests, membership applications and office space expressions of interest through its forms. Everything a form starts is confirmed by Hub staff before it is real:

• A room hire request is not a confirmed booking until the team confirms it with you.
• A membership application is not a membership until the team processes it with you. No payment is taken through this website.
• An office space expression of interest joins the waitlist; it is not a lease or an offer of one.

There are no accounts, logins, online payments or purchases on this site. Sending a form creates no contract; it starts the conversation where those things get agreed properly.

Prices and information on this site

We keep this site in step with the Hub, and the prices shown for room hire, membership, virtual office packages and office space are the Hub's published rates, GST inclusive where stated. Rates do change, so the price that applies is the one Hub staff confirm with you when you book or join.

The rest of the site is general information about the Hub and its programs, provided in good faith. It is not professional business, legal or financial advice; advisory services are arranged with the Hub directly. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by relying on general information from this site instead of confirming it with us.

Room hire terms and conditions

Room bookings are governed by the Hub's Room Hire Terms and Conditions (PDF, March 2022), which the team will also walk you through when confirming a booking. These website terms cover the website only.

The business directory

Listings in our business directory are provided by the member businesses themselves, in their own words and with their own contact details. We publish them in good faith as a member benefit, but each business is responsible for what it says about itself. If a listing looks wrong or out of date, tell us and we will take it up with the member.

Content and copyright

The text and photographs on this site belong to the Hub or are used with permission, including regional aerial photography by Josh Vincent, which is credited where it appears. Directory listing text belongs to the member businesses that wrote it. Browse, read, print and share pages in the ordinary way; reusing content commercially needs written permission first: reception@huntervalleyhub.com.au.

When you send something through our forms, you confirm it is accurate and yours to send. Use the forms for genuine enquiries only, and do not interfere with the site or try to gain access you are not meant to have. How your details are handled is set out in our privacy page, which works alongside these terms.

Links to other websites

This site links out to member websites, YouTube and the government resources we point businesses to. Those links are provided to save you a search; we do not control those websites, their own terms apply once you are there, and a link from us is not an endorsement of everything they publish.

Australian law applies

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia, and if part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
