Explore and Soar
Explore and Soar are a group of passionate occupational therapists that work in collaboration with families, support networks and educators to ensure that children reach their highest potential. We are mobile therapists that offer a range of services in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Muswellbrook and Central Coast regions.
We consistently work towards inclusion, equal accessibility to all services and bridging the gap for rural communities, whilst maintaining best evidence-based practice.
As a team of occupational therapists, we are here to provide support, whilst gently pushing boundaries to expand your child’s skills for the better.
What makes us truly unique is that we are mobile therapists. We work with you to provide individually tailored intervention solutions for you and your child. We are also active in schools, integrating, exposing and supporting all functional skills required to achieve goals. We create groups to expand social skills with peers, whilst also addressing their gross motor, fine motor and academic skills. We collaborate, communicate and work alongside your child’s support network and teachers.
We work within the Newcastle to Muswellbrook and Scone regions, and central coast providing cutting edge, high quality occupational therapy services for all children and their families from 0 to 18 years of age.
The Explore and Soar team are always passionate about growing and expanding the opportunities available to the families in our local communities, always adapting their intervention style and services to support the individual needs of our communities.
Our therapy services are always adapting to enhance connectedness and opportunities for growth and development, ranging from 1:1 occupational therapy intervention with children, parent coaching and support, teacher education and intervention support, therapy assistant intervention, peer sessions and activating social groups.
Our strength is in the connections and relationships we have with our clients and the local communities. We do so by actively volunteering within our communities organising professional development for teachers and families, providing transition to Kindergarten intervention solutions, sponsoring local sporting clubs such as the Redbacks Swimming Club and Branxton District Netball Association and by collaborating with other local business owners and allied health professionals.
At Explore and Soar, we consistently work towards inclusion, equal accessibility to all services and bridging the gap for rural communities, whilst maintaining best evidence-based practice.
