Our consultancy service is to assist patients with a wound that is failing to heal.
This service is based in the Hunter and is offered state-wide. Our advanced wound management service can be provided in the patient’s home, doctor’s surgery or residential aged care facility in collaboration with the health care team.
We also offer a telehealth consultation service for patients Australia wide.
Our experienced and skilled Clinicians will work with you and in collaboration with the health care team to:
- Evaluate and review your clinical requirements regarding wound care
- Develop a wound treatment plan with you using best evidence-based practice to achieve your wound care goals
- Provide specialist advice to other nursing staff and your care team who are involved in your day to day wound care
- Monitor and evaluate your treatment plan via Face-to-face consults and telehealth to ensure your wound care plan is working for your wound
