Towns With Heart Inc is a community based organisation working in Kurri Kurri and surrounding areas on projects that generate economic and social benefits for the local community including – Kurri Kurri Town of Murals with over 70 outdoor murals, Kurri Kurri Visitor Centre and gift shop, Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival, Town of Murals Art Show, Lost Diggers, Field of Honour and art projects such as the Pit Horse Statue located in Col Brown Rotary Park, Kurri Kurri.
