Carrie’s Place provides a range of culturally appropriate and person-centred services for people experiencing domestic and family violence, as well as those facing or at-risk of homelessness. We also deliver programs that support vulnerable individuals and families in their recovery journey, helping them to build resilience and a sense of empowerment.

Our mission is to increase the number of families in the Maitland and Lower Hunter area who are safely housed and living free from abuse. We achieve this by working closely with individuals and communities in the Hunter region, delivering holistic programs and support services that address domestic violence, homelessness, and associated issues.

Since 1979, we have been committed to fostering inclusion, building capacity, and creating opportunities for lasting change.
