Nestled in the heart of Pokolbin, McCaffrey’s Estate is a boutique, family-owned winery offering a warm and personal Hunter Valley experience. Our single-vineyard wines are handcrafted in small batches, showcasing classic Hunter varietals including Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Merlot Cabernet, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz. Visitors can enjoy an intimate tasting at our cellar door while overlooking the vines and learning the stories behind each vintage.

For those wanting to immerse themselves in the winemaking journey, we also host our A Winemaker for a Day experience. Guests step behind the scenes to learn the art of blending, and create their very own bottle to take home. It’s an engaging, hands-on way to learn more about wine tasting and gain a deeper appreciation for the craft of winemaking.

Beyond wine, McCaffrey’s Estate also offers charming self-contained vineyard cottages. Perfect for couples, families, or friends, our accommodation is fully equipped while surrounded by stunning vineyard views. Families are welcome, with travel cots, high chairs, toys and games provided, plus outdoor lawn games and friendly farm animals to delight the little ones.
